MEMBERSHIP RATES

As Muniscope is operated by a not-for-profit organization, its rates are established on a cost-recovery basis. Membership gives you access to a unique service at very affordable rates.

Muniscope membership costs $150.00 per year and includes access to most of the website features. Members at this level are entitled to 3 free library loans per year with subsequent loans subject to a loan fee of $10 for print documents and $5 for photocopied or faxed material. All loans include free mail delivery and pre-paid return. Also, the Muniscope membership entitles an organization to register one department and up to 5 employees for web access. Access Muniscope’s Custom Search tools for municipal, provincial and territorial and association web pages. With a Muniscope membership, Muniscope’s knowledgeable and professional research staff can expand your research capacity and provide customized reports for a separate $125 per hour fee.

Step up to the Muniscope Plus membership level at $400.00 per year and add unlimited free loans, unlimited web registrations of staff and departments from your organization and 5 free hours of research to your package. After you’ve used your 5 free hours of research, additional research hours are available at the reasonable rate of just $125 per hour. You will also get access to Muniscope’s Select Library Searches and RSS feeds, a service designed to help you focus in on a specific area of interest and stay abreast of the library’s new acquisitions as they arrive.

Public libraries and Universities are provided with complimentary access to the library service; however, interlibrary loan charges may be billed for all document dissemination, whether by mail or fax.

To become a member fill out a membership application.
